Internal end mill cutting machine with clamp arms and milling head standing in a workshop frame
The Mactech portable ID end mill machine cold cuts pilings, casings and other round tube from the inside. It self-centers, clamps in place and cuts with dual end mills, so there is no need to dredge or excavate around the pipe.

The ID end mill machine cuts round, hollow tube such as pilings and casings from the inside. Setup is simple: lower it into the pipe, activate it and start cutting. A self-centering mechanism and clamps lock the machine in place for clean cuts.
Because the cut is made from the inside, there is no need to dredge around subsea casings or excavate the work site. The machine is intended for limited-access severing of round tube and for tough materials in tight spots.
Two models are available. The 17 to 33 in machine (432 to 838 mm) is 41 in tall and weighs 342 lb. The 33 to 60 in machine (838 to 1524 mm) is 74.4 in tall and weighs 1140 lb. Both cut walls up to 1.5 in thick and use dual standard 1 in end mills to shorten cutting time.
The machine severs round tube where the outside of the pipe cannot be reached.
