In-line diamond wire saw frame positioned around a yellow offshore platform leg above the sea
Mactech in-line diamond wire saws cut piles, legs and conductors from 14 in to 120 in diameter in a compact frame. ROV versions work underwater while operators stay on deck, and setup, installation and removal are quick.

In-line diamond wire saws combine a wide cutting range with a compact design. The small footprint preserves deck space, the saws fit tight workspaces, and setup, installation and removal are quick. They can be customized for marine and subsea cutting.
The range includes the DWS-30i-AF-SS and DWS-30i-ROV (14 to 30 in), DWS-48i-AF-SS and DWS-48i-ROV-SS (20 to 48 in), DWS-60i-AF-SS (26 to 60 in), DWS-84i-AF-SS (36 to 84 in), DWS-102i-AF-SS (48 to 102 in) and the DWS-120i-AF-SS, which comes in three configurations covering 48 to 120 in.
Drive, feed and clamp are hydraulic. The 30 in to 60 in saws run on 15 gpm at 3000 psi of drive hydraulics and the 84 in to 120 in saws on 40 gpm at 3000 psi. ROV versions are available for underwater operations, so operators can stay out of the water.
In-line saws handle large-diameter cuts offshore, subsea and on land.
