Overview
Cleaning water heaters from the inside
The PWH is an automatic shot blasting machine for cleaning the internal surface of water heaters before enamelling. The cabin can hold up to 12 stations in line, and the right number of stations is defined by the required production rate.
The heaters hang on an overhead conveyor that stops them at every station for single-pass processing, or at alternate stations for double or triple pass processing. At each station a centering device aligns the central hole of the heater with the blasting and blowing lance.
The lances rotate inside the heater for an even treatment of the internal surface. The shot is collected and sent back through a recirculating system.
