Overview
Peening cylindrical parts along their full length
The PP8SC-DR-BO is designed for the automatic shot peening of cylindrical parts such as shafts, pipes and axles. The parts are loaded outside the cabin on a main trolley, which a motor moves into and out of the chamber automatically.
On the trolley the parts sit on a horizontal rotating device with rotation control. The nozzles are mounted on a special holder that focuses the peening on the part and avoids intersecting flows, and a single-axle gantry on the cabin roof moves them over a stroke of 3,000 mm.
A double pressure vessel with magnetic flow-control valves allows continuous operation without interruptions and accurate control of the shot flow.
