Overview
Bulky parts blasted while they tumble
The ABG and PBG types are batch barrel machines designed to treat bulky parts in tumbling movement with mineral shot. Both pressure and Venturi blasting technologies can be used.
A rubber belt with mixed stripes tilts the parts and keeps them moving continuously inside the chamber. The nozzles are mounted on top of the chamber and an oscillating device moves them across the full chamber width. The number of nozzles depends on the loading volume, the production rate and the part geometry.
The machines are designed for manual loading and unloading, and an automatic handling device can be added to fit them into a process line.
