Overview
A gantry that carries each basket through the tanks
The ITF Robotronic is an automatic ultrasonic cleaning line with single basket handling. Its ROBOTRONIC gantry has been designed for the fully automatic handling of the piece-holder baskets through the different treatment stages.
A motorized unit moves along two axes. The horizontal movement advances the baskets in sequence, and the vertical movement lowers them into the tank positions and raises them out again.
The runways are extruded bars with special profiles, hardened by oxidation for long-term resistance and designed for pick and place handling. The carriage and the vertical bar slide in high-precision guides with inclined rollers and five-year lubrication.
