Overview

Metal parts washed on a stainless steel belt

In the ITF belt conveyor tunnel washer, the parts ride on a stainless steel belt that moves continuously or step by step. The belt speed and the tunnel length are set by each customer's cycle time and production needs.

The washing process combines chemical, thermal and mechanical action with high pressure spraying to remove the contaminants.

Sealing doors along the tunnel, at each washing station, allow inspection and sit opposite the water tanks, pumping system and filters. Stainless steel spray manifolds on adjustable supports connect to the collectors with quick-release clamp joints, and the spray pressure is watched with gauges and set with ball valves. ITF runs a Testing Center for process simulations and quality checks before the engineering proposal.
