Overview
Floating pallets, robots and high pressure lances
The ITF Robotflex is a floating pallet type high pressure deburring plant, designed for washing, high pressure deburring, removal of burrs, rinsing and drying of machined parts. Washing and drying happen within one plant, using anthropomorphic IP67 robots and a step-by-step linear conveyor that moves the parts between the process stations on floating pallets.
The plant is offered with 2 or 4 robots. The number depends on how reachable the contaminants are, on the cycle time and on the cleanliness the process must reach.
Parts can be loaded and unloaded manually by an operator, or by robots in pick and place, because the conveyor has indexing at its two loading and unloading stations. Two lateral displacement units and four pneumatic lifting and lowering platforms return the empty pallets to the loading position in a closed loop. This pallet recycling is optional, as the plant can also run with manual pallet return.
