Overview

Small parts deburred in the robot's wrist

The ITF Robotool is a parts-in-wrist robotized washer for high pressure deburring of parts up to 16 kg. It cleans and degreases the part surfaces and removes contaminants from blind and through holes, pockets, anchors and interior and exterior surfaces, with washing, high pressure flushing, rinsing and drying in a single plant.

An anthropomorphic IP67 robot moves each part into and out of the treatment lances. The working chambers are stacked vertically to keep the footprint compact, and a step-by-step linear conveyor driven by a gearmotor carries the parts from station to station. Drying is done by a vacuum process outside the robot process chamber.

Loading and unloading are done by an operator or by an automation system, at two adjacent but separate front positions that can be reconfigured. The plant is available with one or two robots.

Applications

What the Robotool cleans

Parts of complex shape are cleaned without reassembling the washing jets, because the robot brings each part to the lances.
