Water jet deburring of a part held in a fixture, with hoses and a robot arm in the chamber
ITF RobotAutoFlex (RAF) combines brushing, deburring with tools and high pressure water jet deburring in one modular unit for up to 6 robots, a hybrid of the ITF ROBOTFLEX and ROBOTOOL machines.

RobotAutoFlex (RAF) is a single unit that encloses several deburring technologies: brushing, deburring with tools and high pressure water jet deburring, for more flexibility and precision. It is designed for up to 6 robots.
The machine is a hybrid of the ITF ROBOTFLEX and ROBOTOOL models. In some stations the robot takes the part to a fixed tool, and in others the tools are mounted on the robot wrist. A solid grip handles different pieces, which are presented to different tool walls for each cleaning operation, and indexed loading and unloading positions give a fixed, repeatable position for pick-up and drop-off.
Besides deburring, the cell carries out intensive flooded washing and final washing and rinsing of outside and inside surfaces, especially blind holes, pockets and angles, and washes the pallet in the last station. Vacuum drying and final cooling are done outside the machine on standard ITF Composyl (PZR) conveyors.
The cell suits a wide variety of parts that need deburring and final cleaning in one line.
