Softwood sawmills
The 500/45 cuts softwood up to 45 cm diameter at high blade speeds.
Möhringer iFrameSaw frame saws use a steel frame construction with special-steel crank tenons, main shaft and saw frame. The range runs from the iFrameSaw 500 series to the heavy-duty 550, 600 and 700 for multi-shift work.

The iFrameSaw 500 series is built as a steel construction, with high-stress parts such as crank tenons, main shaft and saw frame made of high-grade special steel. The 500/45 is made for softwood up to 45 cm diameter and runs at up to 350 rpm. The 500/45 and 500/71 can be fitted with 8 rollers for short timber.
The iFrameSaw 550, 600 and 700 are heavy-duty frame saws for high output, industrial multi-shift operation and any type of cut in softwood and hardwood sawmills. An O-stroke pump avoids oil heating, the oil circuit leaves room to connect other hydraulic consumers, and the central lubrication is fed from a 200 l barrel. Feed reaches up to 24 m/min.
Model data: 500/45 with 450 mm passage, 350 rpm and 15 m/min; 500/71 with 710 mm, 300 rpm and 12 m/min; 500/75 with 750 mm, 300 rpm and 12 m/min, all with 500 mm stroke and 1000 mm diameter. The 550 (550 mm stroke, 1000 mm diameter, 15 m/min), 600 (600 mm, 1200 mm, 18 m/min) and 700 (700 mm, 1200 mm, 24 m/min) come with 710 or 750 mm passage and 300 rpm.
Every frame saw has a frequency-controlled electric feed and a PLC with touch-screen display and menu navigation. Options include output and diameter logging, automatic feed by diameter, number of saws and timber type, automatic upper rollers, a fully automatic version with Möhringer fast infeed, and remote-controlled asymmetric or 4-way Multi-BV width adjustment.
The range covers smaller softwood mills up to industrial multi-shift sawing.
