STETON STE-0 and STP-O are hydraulic vertical frame presses that clamp frames with vertical and horizontal cylinders. The STE-0 is single acting with a 3000 x 1800 mm working area; the STP-O is a heavy-duty press with horizontal beam.

Overview
Vertical clamping of frames
The STE-0 is a single acting frame press with a 3000 x 1800 mm working area. Three vertical cylinder beams of 55 mm bore, 200 mm stroke and 2 t each press from above, and two horizontal cylinders of 40/25 mm bore, 100 mm stroke and 0.80 t each press from the side. A 1.5 HP hydraulic pack drives the press, and an extra beam with vertical cylinder is optional.
The STP-O is a heavy-duty frame press with a horizontal beam and a working capacity of 3000 x 1700 or 2000 mm. It has 2 vertical cylinders of 90 mm with 800 mm stroke for bar control, 2 horizontal cylinders of 65 mm with 1100 mm stroke for square control, hydraulic positioning on racks, manual controls on an overhanging push-button strip and a 3 HP hydraulic pack.

Applications
What the presses are used for
Both models clamp assembled frames upright, pressing from above and from the side.
Frame assembly
Vertical and horizontal cylinders close the joints of a frame in one clamping step.
Large frames
The STP-O takes frames up to 3000 x 2000 mm with long cylinder strokes.
Square control
The STP-O horizontal cylinders control the squareness of the frame while the bars are pressed.
