VAMP
Air press with motorised trays on both sides: 4.5 kg/cm², 8-10 cylinders Ø 85 mm, 120 mm stroke, 160/200 t.
STETON air membrane presses cover raised MDF panels with PVC foil and veneer, for example kitchen doors. The VAMP and FLEXA use heated pressurised air, vacuum and extractable trays on 2350 or 2850 x 1250 mm working areas.

The VAMP is an air press mainly used to cover raised MDF panels, such as kitchen doors, with PVC foil. It can take two loading and unloading trays that a motorised system moves in and out of either side of the press, so the next panels are prepared and the foil is trimmed while the other tray is pressing.
In the VAMP cycle, pre-glued panels on templates are covered with foil and a perimeter gasket, the tray goes in and the press closes. A top vacuum draws the heated foil to the upper platen, then hot air pressure from the top and vacuum from the bottom form the foil onto the panel. An optional removable top air membrane allows 0.4 mm veneer on raised or flat panels.
The FLEXA moulding press covers shaped panels with PVC thermoplastic sheet on one side, veneer on one or two sides, or both. It has a welded-beam frame, an electrically heated top platen and a bottom mobile platen driven by racks along its width and length. An electric exchanger heats the pressurising air, the press is connected to an air tank and a vacuum pump evacuates the air fast, and a PLC manages every step of the cycle.
Both presses work on 2350 x 1250 or 2850 x 1250 mm useful areas with 85 mm cylinders: the VAMP with 8 to 10 cylinders, 120 mm stroke and 160 or 200 t, the FLEXA with 12 cylinders, 450 mm stroke and 200 or 240 t.
