Overview

Blasting work pieces while they keep moving

Rösler tumble belt blast machines are used for derusting, deburring, roughening or cleaning work pieces of any size that are suitable for tumbling. Depending on the system type, the parts are processed in batches or in continuous operation. The machines are also used for shot peening, matting and general surface finishing.

In the blast area the work pieces are kept in constant motion. A perforated tumble belt, made of rubber as standard or optionally of steel, circulates the parts while they are blasted by up to three turbines or by compressed air. Continuous feed machines typically carry up to four turbines. For foundry use, the systems can be lined with manganese steel plates for a longer service life and lower maintenance.

Depending on the design, the work piece range goes from small plastic parts to heavy sand castings, including transmission parts, forged parts and light metal components.

RMBC tumble belt blast machine

Also called a loop belt machine. An endlessly rotating rubber or steel belt keeps the work pieces moving and mixing inside the blast chamber.

Rösler RMBD 500-2 continuous feed tumble belt blast machine with orange loading conveyor and blast chamber

RMBD continuous feed tumble belt blast machine

Processes bulk goods and work pieces with complicated geometries in continuous operation.
