Rösler Preservation Lines fully automatically pre-heat, derust and descale steel sheets and profiles and apply a welding primer as temporary corrosion protection, for shipyards, steel traders and rolling mills.

A Rösler preservation line is an individually configured surface treatment system. It fully automatically pre-heats, derusts and descales steel and applies a temporary corrosion protection, the welding primer. Preservation lines can take on enormous dimensions and process large quantities of steel sheets or profiles, for example in shipyards, steel trades or rolling mills.
The heart of the line is a roller conveyor blast machine with up to eight high-performance turbines, with further components installed upstream and downstream. A blow-off station and a pre-heater upstream allow damp and cold steel parts stored outdoors to be processed. Roller conveyors, chain conveyors or cross conveyor systems move the work pieces.
After blasting, an automated paint system applies a primer coat, and a dryer dries the coating so the work pieces can be removed at the line outlet without damage. Waste heat from the pre-heater can be used in the dryer to save energy.
The lines are built for high volumes of steel sheets and profiles.
