Overview

Continuous blasting of plates, profiles and steel structures

Rösler roller conveyor blast machines are used for descaling, paint stripping, rust removal, roughening and cleaning sheet metal plates, profiles, beams and pipes. Depending on the system type, they process anything from thin sheet metal plates to massive steel profiles weighing several tons. The largest systems handle work pieces up to 6,000 mm high and 5,000 mm wide.

The parts pass through a pre-chamber, the blast cabin and a post-chamber on a roller conveyor, one after another or in batches. Precisely positioned turbines with energy-saving motors give all-round, reproducible blasting.

The machines integrate into existing production lines. Large access openings and inspection platforms make maintenance easier.

Models

Two roller conveyor designs

Rösler RRB roller conveyor blast machine with four top turbines, media hopper and long infeed roller conveyor

RRB roller conveyor blast machine

The classic roller conveyor blast machine for comparatively simple geometries such as sheet plates, profiles, beams and tubes, processed in a single pass.

Rösler RRBK roller conveyor blast machine for weldments with orange cabin doors and long conveyors on both sides

RRBK roller conveyor blast machine for weldments

Extended version for large, complex steel structures. Turbines sit in two rings on the blast cabin, so all surfaces are cleaned in one pass.

Applications

Where roller conveyor blasting is used

The machines are built for long and flat steel components and weldments.

Descaling

Removing scale from sheet metal plates and steel profiles.

Paint stripping

Removing paint from long and flat components.

Rust removal

Derusting beams, pipes and profiles.

Roughening and cleaning

Preparing steel structures and weldments for coating.
