Linear motors for long, unmanned cycles
SPEEDLINER is a full linear motor 5-axis gantry machining centre for high-speed, high-accuracy machining. Linear motors give smooth motion and high acceleration, and the machine is designed for long cycles and unmanned operation.
Two stabilized columns carry the gantry crosspiece while the workpiece stays stationary. The machine suits high-speed roughing as well as semi-finishing and finishing.
The longitudinal axis runs from 2,500 to 30,000 mm, the cross axis from 1,800 to 3,600 mm and the vertical axis from 1,200 to 1,750 mm. The spindle offers up to 78 kW, 220 Nm and 36,000 rpm. Strokes and accessories such as heads, CNC and tool magazine can be tailored, with the AVIO 80 fork head and the TOE 5-axis orthogonal head available.
