FORMULA column with extended ram, head and side platform next to a T-slot floor plate
O.M.V. FORMULA is a high-speed moving column machining centre with an active thermo-stabilization system and TTM technology, built for dynamics, rigidity and accuracy over time on long cycles.

FORMULA combines high dynamics, structural rigidity and accuracy over time. TTM technology gives smooth movement for high-speed machining, and an active structure thermo-stabilization system keeps dimensional stability during long cycles and in thermally unstable environments.
The vertical and cross axes use precision ball screws, and the longitudinal axis is driven by a double torque motor. The column, saddle and ram are generously sized, ribbed and symmetrical, and a closed platform integrated in the column is decoupled from vibration and protects the operator from chips and water.
The longitudinal axis runs from 4,500 to 20,500 mm, the cross axis is 1,600 mm and the vertical axis runs from 2,600 to 3,600 mm. Feeds reach 60,000 mm/min, and the spindle offers up to 60 kW, 1,070 Nm and 22,000 rpm. The working area takes mill/turn rotary tables, tilting tables, squares and clamping cubes, with TPM, TPS, TMT, TET, TWE, TUBE and bi-rotative heads.
FORMULA is positioned for sectors where dimensional stability over long cycles matters.
