Atlas Hydro P, fixed crossrail
Planomiller with two fixed columns and a moving table. The fixed crossrail carries linear guides for the transverse ram movement. Table length 3000 to 18000 mm.
Innse-Berardi Atlas Hydro is a heavy-duty vertical-spindle portal milling center with hydrostatic guides, built for large components that need high chip removal rates and accuracy across the full working area.

Atlas Hydro is the Innse-Berardi line of vertical-spindle portal milling centers for large components. Hydrostatic guides carry the heavy loads, so the machine keeps high chip removal rates and good accuracy over the whole working area.
The series comes as Atlas Hydro 2, 3 and 4. Following the Flexible Design Concept, each machine is built as a fixed portal (P) with a moving table or as a movable portal (G) travelling over a floor plate, and both can have a fixed or a vertically moving crossrail.
Distance between columns runs from 3000 to 10000 mm and the ram travels 1500 to 4000 mm. The spindle delivers 65 to 100 kW, 3500 to 9000 Nm and 2500 to 4000 rpm, with a C axis for continuous positioning and working.
A wide range of standard and customized attachment heads is available, together with automatic attachment head magazines and tool magazines. A Double Table configuration or an FMS system gives two separate working areas.

Planomiller with two fixed columns and a moving table. The fixed crossrail carries linear guides for the transverse ram movement. Table length 3000 to 18000 mm.

Planomiller whose crossrail moves vertically along the columns on a preloaded hydrostatic system, the W axis, with 1500 to 5000 mm of travel.

Gantry version moving over a floor plate. The fixed crossrail runs on hydrostatic guideways for the transverse ram movement. X-axis travel from 6000 to 24000+ mm.

Gantry version whose crossrail moves vertically along the columns on preloaded hydrostatic guideways, adding a W axis of 1500 to 5000 mm.
The official page positions Atlas Hydro for demanding industrial work on large, heavy components.

Tables or floor plates up to 9000 mm wide and long X travels take large parts in one set-up.
Hydrostatic guides and up to 9000 Nm of spindle torque support high chip removal rates.
Standard and customized attachment heads with a continuous C axis reach different faces of the part.
With a Double Table or an FMS system, one area can be loaded while the other is machined.
