Profile Laser Cutter

MicroStep MSF Profile HL

20 kW gantry laser for heavy beams, profiles and plates

The MicroStep MSF Profile HL is a 20 kW gantry laser for heavy beams and structural profiles. It makes straight cuts, contours, 3D cuts and weld bevels in one operation, turning raw profiles into parts ready for assembly.

Overview

From raw profile to assembly-ready part

The MSF Profile HL brings laser processing into structural steel production. It handles heavy beams and steel profiles and produces straight cuts, complex contours, 3D processing and bevel cuts for weld preparation, so less manual marking and secondary work is needed.

The machine uses a gantry concept for long and heavy workpieces and covers a wide range of profile geometries, including H-beams up to 600 x 1200 mm. A profile scanner is part of the machine, and a plate cutting area lets the same laser cut flat plates.

Preparation steps that used to need several workstations are combined in one laser operation. This shortens lead times, reduces handling and delivers parts ready for fit-up, welding and assembly. The machine runs on MicroStep CyberFab control with CyberFab CAM or mCAM software.

Applications

Where the MSF Profile HL works

The machine is built for demanding structural steel production.

Laser beam cutting through the flange of a U-section steel profile on support slats

Steel structures and construction

Beams and structural profiles are cut, contoured and bevelled into parts ready for fit-up and welding.

Construction machinery

Heavy profiles for machinery frames and heavy equipment are processed with 3D cuts and connections.

Heavy fabrication

Industrial frames and heavy welded assemblies get weld-ready edges with less manual preparation.

Plate cutting

A plate cutting area lets the same machine cut flat plates next to the profile work.
