The DIG membrane wall cutting machine uses LAROB robot laser cutting for water-cooled boiler walls. It cuts pipe ends, flat steel buckles, tension bars and window openings on walls up to 3.5 m × 12 m.

Overview
Robot laser cutting for boiler walls
Membrane walls are water-cooled boiler walls made by welding tubes and flat steel together at intervals. Cutting them involves pipe end cutting, pipe end buckle flat steel, side flat steel tension bars and middle window openings.
The machine is built on DIG's LAROB robot laser cutting platform. Autonomous control and recognition software handles 2D and 3D workpieces, and contour cutting follows the structural features to reduce deformation.
Listed pipe diameters are φ38, φ42, φ44.5/φ45, φ48, φ50.8/φ51, φ57, φ60, φ63.5, φ76 and φ88.9. The maximum membrane wall outer size is 3.5 m × 12 m and can be adjusted to actual conditions.
