Overview
MSF dynamics for everyday 2D cutting
The MSF Cut is a fiber laser cutting machine that keeps the dynamics of MicroStep's MSF laser series. It offers high cutting accuracy at high cutting speeds with low operating and maintenance costs.
An automatic shuttle table speeds up material handling, and a 24-inch display gives an overview of machine operation as standard. The control optimises cutting tool movement, removes the protective plastic film from sheet metal in the cut area automatically, and calibrates the material distance sensor in the cutting head automatically.
The machine comes in 3 x 1.5 m, 4 x 2 m and 6 x 2 m sizes with laser sources of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 or 20 kW. It has one tool station for 2D cutting, reaches 180 m/min positioning speed and repeats to 0.03 mm/m. Automatic plate alignment is available as an accessory.
