The Torsion Testing Machines from Hegewald & Peschke apply torque loads from 200 Nm to 5000 Nm for static and cyclic torsion tests, wire twist tests and torque sensor calibration.

Hegewald & Peschke torsion testing machines test specimens under torque loading. They suit plastics, composite materials, screws, drive shafts, wires and torque sensors, in research, teaching, testing laboratories and production quality control.
The range includes compact tabletop torsion testers, a wire torsion tester and high-capacity torsion test stands: inspekt T-200H, inspekt T-500H, TW-500H, inspekt T3500 and T-5000H.
Depending on the model, the machines are operated with LabMaster software or with a touch panel and control system.

Optimised for wire specimens Ø 0.5-10 mm, also non-circular; quick change of inserts.

TW-500H: simple setting of the clamping length via a scale in the machine bed.

Optional clamping tools for different specimen types.
DIN 6350 chuck for many diameters and shapes, clamping range up to 315 mm.
Ø 0.5-6 mm (optionally up to 10 mm), large clamping surface for high torques.

Simple and reverse torsion tests on wires with the TW-500H.
Torsion tests on screws, drive shafts and cardan shafts.
Static and dynamic torsion tests on plastic and composite specimens.
Calibration of torque sensors on the tabletop models.
