The Friction Test Stand from Hegewald & Peschke examines the friction and wear behaviour of metallic pin-cylinder pairs inside a climate-controllable chamber, with adjustable temperature, humidity, friction speed and normal force.

The friction test stand is used to examine metallic cylinder-pin pairs under climate influence in the range of sparse wear. The test area sits inside a climate-controllable chamber, and temperature, humidity, friction speed and normal force can be adjusted during testing.
The test can be watched through a window in the chamber door. The machine is delivered completely assembled, the sample holder can be adapted to customer requirements, and the base system can be extended with accessories such as external climate control units and protective devices.
