Overview
Thickness planing in 530 and 630 mm widths
The new PS series thickness planers come with an automatic table lift and four feed speeds of 7, 11, 15 and 19 m/min. The S 530/PS and S 630/PS have working tables of 530 × 930 mm and 630 × 930 mm, and the table moves vertically on four steel screws.
The S 530/DS is a 530 mm thickness planer with an idle roller in front of the thickness table, an automatic table lift and a central column with two supports. Its working table measures 530 × 950 mm and the shaft turns at 5000 rpm.
All models plane from 5 to 300 mm thickness with a maximum removal of 8 mm, driven by a 7.5 HP motor. PS options include a rubber-coated upper feed roller, a second powered upper outfeed roller, an electronic thickness readout, an uprated motor and an extended outlet table with two idle rollers.

Sizing to thickness
Parts from 5 to 300 mm thick are planed to size, with up to 8 mm removed per pass.
Wide boards and panels
The S 630/PS takes parts up to 630 mm wide on a 630 × 930 mm table.
Feed rate to suit the wood
Four feed speeds from 7 to 19 m/min on the PS series let the operator match the feed to the job.
