Overview
A multirip saw range with decades in production
The SM range is a family of single-arbor multirip saws that COSMEC has built for about 40 years. The machines are designed for stability, operator safety, speed and simple use.
The SM 300 cuts up to 110 mm deep with a 300 mm feeding belt and blades of 203 to 350 mm, driven by a 30, 40 or 50 HP main motor. The SM 350 cuts up to 120 mm deep with a 350 mm belt and blades of 300 to 380 mm, driven by 50, 60 or 75 HP. Both have an inverter-controlled 2 HP feed motor with feed from 7.5 to 30 m/min.
Control panels can run all working processes without manual operation. Blades of different diameters can be fitted, along with adjustable blade units with mechanical or electronic control, and a wide range of accessories is available on request.
