Overview
A wider SMART for larger panels
The SMART 30 XL is the wide version of the SMART 30, with a 1600 mm Y axis on an open bridge over a fixed table. It is built in 3, 4 or 5-axis configurations and is sold as the SMART 30 XL and the SMART 30 XL – 5 AXIS.
The X axis is available from 3100 to 6100 mm. Z travel is 120 mm on the 3-axis machine and 200 mm on the 5-axis version. Vector speed is 85 m/min and linear speed is 60 m/min.
The 24,000 rpm electrospindle gives 10/12 kW with an ISO 30 taper on the 3-axis machine and 11/13 kW with an HSK F 63 taper on the 5-axis machine. A rotary tool changer of 10 or 16 positions and a 10-position rack hold up to 26 tools.
