Overview
Light moving mass for complex profiles
The IDEA range is built for model making and composite materials. The crossbar moves on top of a fixed table, so the moving mass stays small and the machine keeps its dynamics on complex parts with frequent changes of direction.
The P series uses a dual-sliding ram enclosed in a box, sized for spindles up to 30 kW. The IDEA 30 P has a 3000 × 2100 mm working field, or 3000 × 2600 mm as an option, and the IDEA 36 P has 3600 × 2100 mm, or 3600 × 2600 mm. Panel feed thickness is 1200 mm, or 1500 mm as an option.
The spindle turns from 500 to 24,000 rpm at 20 kW, or 30 kW as an option, with an HSK tool holder. Vector speed is 110 m/min and linear speed 80 m/min, and the tool changer has 16 positions, with 32 or 48 as options.
Applications
Work on the IDEA P series
The IDEA is set up for complex 3D shapes in model making and composite work.
Composite parts
Composite and plastic components are machined in a closed working area.
Workpiece clamping
Vacuum platens, grills, platens with reverse T-slots and hybrid systems hold the parts.
Dust containment
A fully sealed cabin is available on request to contain dust from composite machining.
