Rendered layout of a PEMA Skyline system with robot cells, manual stations, conveyor and buffer racks
PEMA Skyline is an automated flexible manufacturing system for welding heavy steel structures. Robot cells, manual welding stations and conveyors run under one software, so many product variants flow through one line.

PEMA Skyline is a fully automated flexible manufacturing system for welding heavy steel structures. It combines PEMA Skytrack welding robots, manual positioners and fully automated conveyors into one production flow, run by the in-house PEMA LineControl software.
The system is made for high-mix, low-volume production. It handles hundreds of product variants, changes products on the fly and absorbs swings in demand, while robots take the repetitive welding around the clock and welders move to part preparation and system oversight.
Each Skyline is tailored to the factory layout, production flow and business goals, often within the existing floor, and the floor requirement starts from about 150 m². It can grow one cell at a time, and compatible PEMA robots and positioners already in the shop can be integrated from day one.
Skyline is aimed at heavy steel structures produced in many variants and small series.
