The AG VMW-300-S Wafer Butterfly Valve from AG Fire Sprinkler is designed for firefighting systems. Its slow-close gear operator minimizes water hammer, and the valve gives minimal flow restriction and pressure loss in the fully open position.
The valve connects to the piping with approved couplings or flange adapters. Flow may come from either direction and the valve may be installed in any position. An internal supervisory tamper switch and a position indicator show the valve status.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 300 psi (21.4 bar).
- Maximum working pressure: 600 psi (42.8 bar).
- Temperature rating: 0°C to 80°C (32°F to 176°F).
Materials & Coating
- Body and disc: ductile iron ASTM A536, 65-45-12.
- Shafts: AISI 431 stainless steel; EPDM end face seal.
- Fusion bonded epoxy coating to ANSI/AWWA C550, fire red RAL 3000.
Connection & Sizes
- Wafer ends to ASME B16.1 CL 125 and ASME B16.5 CL 150.
- Top flange to ISO 5211.
- Sizes 2" (DN50) to 12" (DN300).
