The AG Fire Sprinkler Vertical Indicator Post, Model PIV, is designed to show visually whether an underground valve is in the OPEN or SHUT position.
It allows an underground fire line valve to be operated from ground level using an operating wrench. The standpipe and stem are cut on site to suit the depth of the buried valve.
Installation & Sizes
- For 4", 6", 8", 10" and 12" (DN100 to DN300) valves.
- Standpipe and 1" square stem cut to match the ground line.
- Suitable for outdoor and underground installation.
Materials & Coating
- Body, top section and base flange in cast iron.
- Carbon steel standpipe and stem; cast aluminium target.
- Plexiglass window with EPDM gasket.
- Fusion-bonded epoxy coating to ANSI/AWWA C550, finished red RAL 3000.
