AG Fire Sprinkler's flanged resilient OS&Y (outside screw and yoke) gate valves, Models VCOS&Y300 and VCOS&Y232, are designed for use in fire protection and water supply systems.
The valves are handwheel actuated, giving smooth manual operation for isolation and control. The VCOS&Y300 is rated for 300 psi (21 bar) and the VCOS&Y232 for 232 psi (16 bar).
Pressure & Temperature
- VCOS&Y300: maximum working pressure 300 psi (21 bar).
- VCOS&Y232: maximum working pressure 232 psi (16 bar).
- Working temperature: 32°F to 176°F (0°C to 80°C).
Connection & Sizes
- Flanges to DIN EN 1092-2:1997 or ASME B16.1.
- VCOS&Y232: 2" to 12" (DN50 to DN300), including 5" (DN125).
- VCOS&Y300: 2", 2½", 3", 4", 6", 8", 10" and 12" (DN50 to DN300).
- 12" (DN300) VCOS&Y232 is supplied with DIN EN 1092-2 flanges only.
Materials & Coating
- Body, bonnet and yoke in ductile iron (EN-GJS-450-10 / ASTM A536 65-45-12).
- Stainless steel stem (420) with brass stem nut.
- Fusion-bonded epoxy coating to ANSI/AWWA C550, finished red RAL 3000.
Positive Shut-Off
Provides positive water shut-off and control for isolation duties.
High-Pressure Ratings
Suitable for fire protection systems with 232 psi or 300 psi working pressure.
