AG Fire Sprinkler's flanged resilient non-rising stem (NRS) gate valves for indicator posts, Models VCNRS232P and VCNRS300P, are designed for fire protection systems that need positive shut-off with underground operation.
The valves are operated through an indicator post, which allows secure control from above ground. The VCNRS300P is rated for 300 psi (21 bar) and the VCNRS232P for 232 psi (16 bar).
Pressure & Temperature
- VCNRS300P: maximum working pressure 300 psi (21 bar).
- VCNRS232P: maximum working pressure 232 psi (16 bar).
- Working temperature: 32°F to 176°F (0°C to 80°C).
Connection & Sizes
- Sizes 4", 6", 8", 10" and 12" (DN100 to DN300).
- Flanges to DIN EN 1092-2:1997 or ASME B16.1; mechanical joint also listed.
- 12" (DN300) VCNRS232P is supplied with DIN EN 1092-2 flanges only.
Materials & Coating
- Body, bonnet and wedge in ductile iron (EN-GJS-450-10 / ASTM A536 65-45-12).
- Resilient wedge disc with EPDM; brass wedge nut.
- Fusion-bonded epoxy coating to ANSI/AWWA C550, finished red RAL 3000.
Above-Ground Control
Allows safe and easy control of underground valves through an indicator post.
Protected Stem
The non-rising stem is not exposed to corrosion or external damage.
High-Pressure Duty
Suitable for fire protection systems working at 232 psi or 300 psi.
Secure Operation
Indicator post operation keeps the valve accessible while limiting unauthorised use.
