The AG VMG-300-S Grooved Butterfly Valve from AG Fire Sprinkler is designed for firefighting systems and general water control. Its slow-close gear operator minimizes water hammer for safe and smooth operation.
The valve gives minimal flow restriction and pressure loss when fully open. It connects to the piping with approved grooved couplings or flange adapters, accepts flow from either direction and can be installed in any orientation. An internal tamper switch and a position indicator show the valve status.
Pressure & Temperature
- Maximum working pressure: 21.4 bar (300 psi).
- Maximum test pressure: 42.8 bar (600 psi).
- Maximum working temperature: 250°F (120°C).
- For indoor and outdoor use.
Materials & Coating
- Body: ductile iron ASTM A536, 65-45-12.
- Disc: ductile iron ASTM A536 with EPDM.
- Stems: AISI 431 stainless steel.
- Fusion bonded epoxy coating to ANSI/AWWA C550, fire red RAL 3000.
Connection & Sizes
- Grooved ends to ANSI/AWWA C606.
- Connects with approved grooved couplings or flange adapters.
- Sizes 2" (DN50) to 12" (DN300).
