Bench Rockwell Hardness Tester

CISAM-ERNST AT250 Bench Hardness Tester

Rockwell and Super Rockwell bench tester with touchscreen display

The AT250 Bench Hardness Tester from CISAM-ERNST works on the Rockwell principle with the Ernst spring loading system, so the result is not affected by bending or deflection of the workpiece during the test.

Overview

Rockwell testing with touchscreen data management

The AT250 is a bench hardness tester based on the Rockwell principle and the evolution of the AT130, adding a touchscreen interface and wider data management functions. One lever movement performs one complete test, with a cycle time of 2 seconds.

It suits industrial quality control, heat treatment inspection, production testing and laboratory work, and supports data output and optional Modbus-TCP, RS232 and Profibus interfaces for digital quality systems.

Features

Touchscreen and connectivity

Testing

  • Rockwell principle, semi-automatic load application.
  • Ernst spring loading system, not affected by bending or deflection.
  • One lever movement performs one complete test.

Software functions

  • Scale selection, load time, minimum thickness and mm/inch setting.
  • Round correction, tolerance, indenter type and calibration functions.
  • Measurement archive, statistics, conversion, print and password protection.

Interfaces

  • 2 USB ports and 2 free slots.
  • Optional Modbus-TCP, RS232 and Profibus.
Benefits

Why it fits production QC

Fast testing. A 2-second cycle raises quality-control throughput.
Consistent results. Readings hold even when the part bends or deflects.
Less operator influence. Touchscreen operation and one-lever testing reduce operator effect.
Digital reporting. Data export and optional links to production or quality systems.
