Bench Rockwell Hardness Tester

CISAM-ERNST AT130 Bench Hardness Tester

Bench Rockwell hardness tester for fast, repeatable hardness testing

The AT130 Bench Hardness Tester from CISAM-ERNST works on the Rockwell principle with the Ernst spring loading system: one lever pull-down performs one complete test, and bending of the sample does not affect the result.

Overview

Rockwell testing with one lever movement

The AT130 is a bench hardness tester for fast, repeatable hardness testing. It works according to the Rockwell principle and is available in MOD R for Rockwell and MOD SR for Super Rockwell.

The Ernst spring loading system makes the test insensitive to bending or deflection of the sample, so hardness is measured directly on the sample surface with less preparation. One lever pull-down equals one test.

The AT130 is suited to production environments with dust and vibration, and has been sold globally since the 1970s.

Features

Simple Rockwell testing

Testing

  • Rockwell principle, semi-automatic load application.
  • Spring loading system, not affected by bending or deflection.
  • One lever movement performs one complete test.
  • Test cycle time of 2 seconds.

Readout and power

  • Display reading.
  • RS232 output.
  • Power supply 100–240 V.

Optional scales

  • HRE, HRH, HRK, HRL, HRM, HRP, HRR, HRS, HRV.
  • HB10, HB5, kg/mm², N/mm² and HV.
Benefits

Why it fits routine testing

Fast testing. A 2-second cycle supports high productivity in routine testing.
Simple operation. One lever movement performs one test and reduces operator influence.
Consistent results. Readings hold even when the sample bends or deflects.
Built for production. Suited to harsh environments and faster than load-cell-based systems.
Flexible stands. Stand options for different sample sizes, in the lab or on the shop floor.
