Overview
A medium-duty manipulator for hard automation
PEMA MD is a medium-duty column and boom series for welding hard automation purposes. Its stable construction uses a rack-bar drive and linear rail movements, which give smooth operation and good welding quality.
The series is a versatile and cost-effective solution especially for single wire and twin SAW welding, and it also suits MIG/MAG and TIG processes. Optional accessories include flux handling, a camera and control systems.
Three sizes are available. The MD 3×3 offers a vertical reach of 1 000–4 000 mm and a boom reach of 900–3 900 mm, the MD 4×4 1 000–5 000 mm and 900–4 900 mm, and the MD 5×5 1 000–6 000 mm and 900–5 900 mm. Column rotation is manual or motorized.
