Overview
Heavy-duty reach for longitudinal and circumferential seams
PEMA HD is a heavy-duty column and boom series for demanding welding automation purposes. The series is especially suited to tandem SAW welding in complete hard automation cells, and it also suits single wire and twin SAW, MIG/MAG and TIG processes.
Column, boom and rail movements are motorized, and the column rotation is motorized as well. The machines weld longitudinal and circumferential seams and are easy to integrate with PEMA rollerbeds and positioners.
Six sizes are available, from HD 3×3 to HD 8×6. The HD 3×3 has a vertical reach of 1 150–4 150 mm and a boom reach of 1 250–4 250 mm; the HD 8×6 reaches 1 150–9 150 mm vertically and 1 250–7 250 mm with the boom.
