Overview
Turning long work-pieces between two supports
PEMA HPS headstock and TPS tailstock positioners are specifically designed for long, revolving work-pieces. Typical applications are the manufacturing of wind towers, trailer frames, pipes and beams. Loading capacity ranges from 3 500 to 40 000 kg (7 700 to 88 000 lbs).
The HPS headstock has motorised rotation and stepless height adjustment. The TPS tailstock has a free-rotating table plate and adjustable height. The headstock can also be used on its own, without a tailstock.
Five sizes are available. The HPS 3500 & TPS 3500 has a max. load of 35 000 N, a height of 2 350 mm and an extension height of 250 mm; the HPS 40000 & TPS 40000 has a max. load of 400 000 N and a height of 5 200 mm.
