Overview

Finishing single parts with high intensity

The Rösler Surf-Finisher works with a rotating work bowl for intensive finishing at short cycle times. It is designed for high-quality, delicate and complex work pieces, and the process avoids contact between the parts.

The work pieces are mounted on a clamping device, a processing spindle or a robot, and immersed in a container of finishing media. Rotating the work bowl or the parts creates the relative motion that grinds, deburrs, polishes or rounds the edges.

Intelligent process control gives reproducible results, and process steps such as pre-grinding, fine grinding and polishing can be combined. The systems can be automated and integrated into production cells, and also suit large and heavy components.
