Overview

Repairing moulds on a compact station

The SISMA SWT is a laser welding system for the repair and maintenance of transportable moulds, with a maximum part size of 400 x 400 x 320 mm and a load limit of 120 kg. Its 180° door opening makes it easier to position bulky components.

It welds hard-to-reach areas such as narrow, deep grooves and internal or external edges. Depending on the filler wire used, the repaired mould can reach high hardness without any later heat treatment.

The SWT comes in an open (Class 4) or closed (Class 1) version, with a flash-lamp Nd:YAG source or a fibre source. The models 150, 150F, 300F and 450F cover 150 to 450 W average power, and axis travel is 300 mm on X, 200 mm on Y and 320 mm on Z.
