Overview
A pulsed source for automatic welding
SISMA SL is a series of laser systems for automatic welding, built for high speed and precision. Its main component is a Nd:YAG flash-lamp laser source developed by SISMA.
The laser light is delivered through an optical fibre, available in several sizes, and a water cooling system keeps the pulses constant and repeatable. The PLUS version adds Cruise Control, which keeps the energy of each pulse stable under harsh conditions.
Three sizes are offered, SL 35, SL 50 and SL 80, in PLUS and GO versions. Maximum pulse energy is 25, 30 and 70 J, with pulse durations from 0.3 to 25 ms and pulse frequencies up to 50 Hz, on a 230 V single-phase supply.
