Overview
A standalone welder on its own base
The SISMA LM is a manual laser welding system for high-precision processing of metals and the latest step in SISMA's manual laser welding line. It is a standalone unit on a wheeled, height-adjustable base, and its cooling system lets it run in different work environments.
Two models are listed, LM 230 and LM 300, both with a Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm. The LM 230 gives 85 W maximum average power, 230 J maximum pulse energy at 25 ms and 9 kW peak power; the LM 300 gives 110 W, 300 J and 11.2 kW.
Its signature functions are NanoSpot, which reaches a 0.05 mm spot size for work on very thin parts, and Velvet Spot for high-quality welds. A 10-inch HMI screen shows only what the operator needs, and a FLEX version with leather fringe protections is available.
