The MicroStep MSF Pipe-T is a laser machine for 2D and 3D cutting of round pipes up to 6 m long and Ø300 mm, or Ø500 mm in a special version. It also cuts rectangular tubes, and a laser scanner measures each pipe for accuracy.

Overview
2D and 3D laser cutting of pipes
The MSF Pipe-T is designed for 2D or 3D laser cutting of round pipes up to 6 m long and up to Ø300 mm, with a special version for diameters up to Ø500 mm. It also cuts tubes with rectangular and other cross-sections, with square profiles up to 280 mm.
A laser scanner measures the real shape of each pipe, so the cut follows the actual workpiece. Pipes and hollow sections are loaded by hand through the sliding side panels of the protective cabin, and motorized pipe supports carry the workpiece during cutting.
The machine handles round pipes up to 180 kg/m and square profiles up to 75 kg/m, with a positioning speed of up to 183 m/min. Bevel cutting is available with the laser 3D tilting tool station.
