Overview

A cutting line for large-diameter pipes

CPCut is a pipe and profile cutting line for a wide range of pipe diameters and lengths. Its modular design allows variable configurations for many pipe-based applications, mainly in tank, pipeline and power plant construction.

The machine trims pipes, cuts openings for pipe and profile intersections or connections, prepares welding seams and marks pipes. It handles pipes from Ø100 to 1500 mm and up to 12 m long, with up to two tool stations for plasma or oxyfuel cutting up to 60 mm.

Bevel cutting is available through plasma rotator stations. Pipes are turned on RSV rotary pipe positioners, and a profile scanner, auto-calibration of tool geometry, inkjet writer and MicroPunch marking can be added. Every line is configured to the customer's needs.

Applications

Where the CPCut works

The line is built for large pipes in heavy construction projects.

Tank construction

Large pipes are trimmed to length and given openings for intersections and connections.

Pipeline construction

Pipe ends are cut and bevelled to prepare welding seams.

Power plant construction

Openings for pipe and profile intersections are cut on pipes up to Ø1500 mm.
