The TUR MN is a CNC lathe designed for machining heavy elements with diameters up to 1,550 mm. The official page describes its structural stability and precision of processing.
Three sizes are listed: 1,150, 1,350 and 1,550 mm swing over bed, with 700, 900 and 1,100 mm swing over the saddle. Distances between centres run from 3,000 mm up to 16,000 mm. The machine takes up to 12,000 kg between centres without steadies and 3,000 kg in the chuck only.
The headstock has two spindle ranges (2–225 and 180–1,000 rpm), a 41 kW main drive motor and up to 8,200 Nm of turning torque. Spindle bores from 140 to 450 mm and A2-15, A2-20 and A2-28 spindle noses are listed. The tailstock quill is 220 mm in diameter with MT6 taper and a 300 mm stroke.
