The FAT FCT 700 is a slant bed CNC lathe with a cast heavy duty bed inclined at 70° and four guideways, a 700 mm swing over the bed (840 mm as an option) and up to 5,100 mm between centres.

Overview
A 70° slant bed lathe with direct drive
The FCT 700 slant bed CNC lathe has a cast heavy duty bed inclined at 70° with four guideways. The swing over the bed is 700 mm, or 840 mm on the FCT HV option version, and distances between centres of 1,100, 1,600, 2,100, 3,100, 4,100 and 5,100 mm are available.
The headstock has a direct drive transmission with a 25 kW main drive motor. Spindle executions with 105, 140 and 220 mm spindle bores are offered, with top spindle speeds of 2,500 rpm (2,000 rpm for the 220 mm bore) and turning torques of 850 Nm with direct drive or 3,400 Nm with a 2-range gearbox.
The machine takes up to 2,500 kg between centres without steadies and 800 kg in the chuck only. A 12-position VDI 50 tool turret is available for static or rotating tools, and a sub-spindle with a 90 mm bore and 25 kW motor is listed on the official page.
