Review the confirmed product information, including description, features, benefits, and applications.
The PilotGenizer Pilot Dual Pump is a pilot-scale high-pressure nano-homogenization system for formulation development, process optimization and scale-up studies between laboratory and commercial production. Its dual high-pressure pump architecture gives continuous, stable flow with minimized pressure pulsation for reproducible processing conditions.
The system operates at pressures up to approximately 30,000 psi (~2,000 bar, configuration dependent), forcing formulations through precision interaction chambers where shear, cavitation, turbulence and impact reduce particle size to sub-micron and nano-scale ranges with a narrow, repeatable distribution. It handles a wide range of viscosities and solid contents and supports technology transfer to production-scale systems such as ProdGenizer.
Wetted parts are pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel, and the unit is designed for GMP-oriented operation, including compatibility with Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) concepts, validation activities and integration into sterile production environments.
Provides highly reproducible processing at pilot scale.
Gives an accurate simulation of commercial production conditions.
Reduces scale-up risk when moving from pilot to production.
Delivers consistent particle size and formulation quality.
Supports formulation optimization and process validation.
Shortens development and scale-up timelines.
