ITF PP-UM manual wet blasting machines handle a homogeneous mixture of shot, air and water for a softer treatment than dry blasting, with a heavy-duty pump and compressed air at 6–8 bar.

The PP-UM machines are manual wet blasting machines designed to handle a homogeneous mixture of shot, air and water.
Wet blasting gives a softer treatment of the surface than dry blasting. The common mixture is 30% shot and 70% water, with corundum, silicates or glass beads as the usual media. A special heavy-duty pump, designed for aggressive liquids, keeps the solution homogeneous and delivers the mixture to the blasting gun, while compressed air at 6–8 bar gives the correct shot impact on the surface.
The PP-UM suits manual work where a softer wet-blasted finish is needed.
