Wet blasting guns on a gantry holder inside the stainless steel chamber
ITF PP-UA wet blasting machines handle a homogeneous mix of shot, air and water for a softer finish than dry blasting, and a motorized table with a 2-axis gantry robot makes the process fully automatic.

The PP-UA wet blasting machines are designed to handle a homogeneous mixture of shot, air and water. A motorized table together with a 2-axis gantry robot allows a fully automatic process.
Wet blasting gives a softer treatment of the surface than dry blasting. The common mixture is 30% shot and 70% water, with corundum, silicates or glass beads as the usual media. A special heavy-duty pump, designed for aggressive liquids, keeps the solution homogeneous and delivers the mixture to the blasting gun, while compressed air at 6–8 bar gives the correct shot impact on the surface.
The machines can be fitted with a paper filter that removes light oil contaminants from the recirculating solution, so the parts do not need degreasing before treatment.
The PP-UA suits parts that need a soft wet-blasted finish in an automatic cycle.
